It’s time for football! The 2016 season kicks off with one of the most anticipated games in LSU history, with the Tigers taking on the University of Wisconsin at legendary Lambeau Field (renamed “LAMBEAUX” for this weekend!). LSU starts out ranked as #6 in a season that many anticipate ending with a berth in the college football playoffs. This is a team that’s already faced more adversity off the field with the flooding in Louisiana than they will on it, and that has given the team a sense of playing for something bigger that could serve them well.
We’ll be gathering at our fantastic local spot to watch – Sharky’s Place in Raleigh (which also hosts Saints games). Randy & crew usually have shrimp poboys and some other Louisiana dishes for us to enjoy, so we hope you’ll join us for a great time watching the Tigers.
When: Saturday, Sep. 3, 3:30 PM
Where: Sharky’s Place, 5800 Duraleigh Rd, Raleigh
