2016 Chapter kickoff – Jambalaya cookoff, Saturday Aug 20

NOTE: Our planned jambalaya competition has been turned into a flood relief event, and all proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross and designated for their Louisiana Flood Relief effort. You can donate directly to this here.

The 2016-17 chapter year is starting soon, and we’re kicking things off with a jambalaya competition! If you love to cook or eat jambalaya, this will be some gooood stuff – please let us know if you’re interested in entering as a jambalaya cook. There will be a small charge, but cooks eat free. The winning cook will receive a gift certificate, value TBD based on attendance – the more the merrier (and richer!).

We’ll also be holding a chapter business meeting and officer elections / confirmation. If you are interested in getting involved as an officer or just volunteering to help with some of our events, please let us know and come on out!

Also, the Saints preseason game will be on the schedule at 8:00 for those who are interested.

Please RSVP to lsutriangle@gmail.com so that we can appropriately set up.
